Grandma Lewis’ Rice Pudding

A delicious rice pudding that is super easy to make.
Ingredients
  • 1 cup dry medium grain rice prepared as per brand instructions.
  • 1&1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 cans evaporated milk
  • 6 cups whole milk or 2%
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
  1. Cook 1 cup dry rice as per Brands instructions.
  2. Combine with all of the other ingredients in a heavy lidded casserole dish or enameled dutch oven.
  3. Use a whisk to ensure that the cinnamon is fully incorporated.
  4. Bake the pudding for two hours or a little longer if a thicker pudding is desired.
