Ingredients
  • 1 Lb ground meat
  • 1 head cabbage
  • 1 cup prepared rice
  • ¼ onion diced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Garlic powder to taste
  • Tomato soup or tomato juice
  • Water
Instructions
  1. Add rice and seasonings to the ground meat.
  2. Mix well but do not over mix.
  3. Pull leaves off of cabbage and par boil until tender.
  4. Remove cabbage from water and allow to cool until it can be handled without burning.
  5. Place a nice amount of meat mixture into a cabbage leaf and fold over and roll into a tight bundle.
  6. Place bundles in a baking dish and cover with canned tomato soup mixed with water or tomato juice.
  7. Cover with tin foil and bake in a 350 degree oven for two hours.
  8. Remove from oven and serve warm.
  9. If desired, use the remaining juice as a "gravy"
